To keep the refrigerated container cold, you need a power supply with 3-phase electricity, either 460V (30 amps) or 230V (50 amps). The system must be grounded and use a surge protector. It comes with a 60-foot power cable and plug. A licensed electrician should be hired to set it up safely.
For delivery, a chassis requires about 13.5 feet of height clearance, while a tilt-bed needs around 12.6 feet. When off-loading, a tilt-bed also needs 16 feet of vertical clearance and 50-60 feet of straight-line space in front of the unit.
We recommend a lead time of 5 to 7 days. This allows us to complete a full system check and prepare the unit for delivery.
Our refrigerated containers typically offer a temperature set point range from -22°F to 86°F depending on the unit model.
No, it doesn’t need to be on a trailer. Refrigerated containers can be placed directly on the ground (tilt-bed) or on a chassis (trailer), depending on your site setup and delivery method.

Renting refrigerated containers (reefers) offers several advantages, especially for businesses with fluctuating storage needs. Key benefits include:
Renting reefers lets businesses rapidly scale their refrigerated storage to match seasonal demand spikes-such as holidays, summer peaks, or promotional events-without the need for permanent infrastructure. This flexibility ensures sufficient cold storage capacity is available exactly when needed, helping to prevent spoilage, stockouts, and lost sales during critical periods.
Absolutely. Traditional cold storage facilities often charge fixed fees regardless of how much space you actually use, leading to wasted costs on unused capacity. Renting reefers, however, allows you to pay only for the refrigerated space you need, when you need it. This flexibility helps reduce expenses during slower periods while still providing enough storage to handle peak demand, resulting in significant cost savings overall.
Absolutely. Reefers provide an on-demand cold storage solution that can be deployed quickly to handle unexpected surges in demand, such as product launches, promotions, or last-minute events. Renting reefers eliminates the need for costly, long-term investments in cold storage infrastructure.
